Embrace Monroe has begun fundraising to make that a reality...and much more...

Having a home base is ideal for any non-profit. For many of them they don't have a location to call their own or merch to help spread the word. Embrace Monroe has this fund to do both. We're looking to raise funds for a community center that involves either the down payment for a location to purchase or a yearly lease at a location in Monroe County area. We're also looking to have free promo swag and goods for sale that help promote the cause by creating awareness.

Why Donate?

This fund will give us a sense of stability. It provides a place to call our own but also a physical location that others can visit or frequent when they need support from the LGBTQ+ community. It's also great just for small monthly get-together. Instead of looking for a place to host Embrace Monroe would have one where you'd be welcome. Crisis Intervention & Drop-in Support
Allows real-time, immediate support for individuals facing crises or needing urgent assistance.

A location decorated with inclusive art, flags, and affirmations becomes a beacon of pride and representation.

Collaborative Partnerships
It creates a physical point of contact for partnerships with local businesses, schools, healthcare providers, and advocacy groups.

Remember too that Embrace Monroe is an all volunteer organization. Everything you donate comes back to the small non-profit group rather than a fat cat CEO. No one is paid for their time. Embrace Monroe was a project born out of love and necessity so please consider donating to this fund so we can keep being social and connected. It's important to our well being as humans.
