NEEDS AND OPPORTUNITIES AT THE CAVAILLON CHILDREN’S VILLAGE

Sponsor a child! - $1,080 ($90/mo) covers all the needs for one child for one year (food, housing, house moms, school, security, nurse). There is still the need to provide for the equivalent of 15 of the 85 children in 2019. Total need = $16,200
High School Tuition – It costs $400/year to provide a “Classical Education” (grades 7-13) for a child at a High School started and sponsored by ESMI (College Pain de Vie Les Cayes). There are 12 children from Cavaillon who will begin classes this year. Total need = $4,800
Clothe a child for a year - $100/yr provides materials and labor (provided by the older children in the ESMI orphanages) to provide school uniforms, clothes, and shoes for one child. Total need = $8,500
Mattresses - $195 each (each covered in plastic). We need 60 mattresses to replace the small, and now used and soiled, mattresses that were provided after Hurricane Matthew destroyed Cavaillon. Total need = $11,700
Toilets and Showers - $10,000 is needed to complete the toilets, showers, and sinks for both boys and girls (the foundation has been laid with all the plumbing and septic field to this point). Total need = $10,000
