Celebrate Our Differences: Chalk the Walk with DSACNJ and Club DREAMS!

Begin your journey of inclusion and awareness by donating $21 to the Down Syndrome Association of Central NJ (DSACNJ). In partnership with Club DREAMS, we’re launching a powerful “Chalk the Walk” campaign to celebrate the beauty of our differences in the special needs community. Put on your craziest socks, grab some sidewalk chalk, and create colorful artwork or inspiring messages that spread joy, hope, and unity. Record a short video with your masterpiece, then nominate three people, businesses, or schools to join the movement! Each nominee will donate $21, chalk their own walk, and keep the momentum going. Together, step by step, we can build a brighter, more inclusive world—starting right on your sidewalk. Don't forget to post to social media using #chalkin4DS

We are nominating 3 people to each donate $21 to the Chalk the Walk campaign in honor of World Down Syndrome Day, celebrated on 3/21. The number 3 represents the triplication of the 21st chromosome, which is what causes Down syndrome, and 21 signifies the specific chromosome affected. By participating, we're not only raising awareness but also celebrating the uniqueness, strength, and joy of individuals with Down syndrome.

This campaign will run through the month of October, which is Down Syndrome Awareness Month.
