Why Change Matters

Change may seem small, but when it’s placed in the right hands, it becomes something powerful.

The Changemakers Campaign invites our community to come together in simple but meaningful ways to support the work of Murfreesboro Rescue Mission. Every coin dropped in a jar represents a shared commitment to care for neighbors who are facing hardship and looking for a path forward.

How to get involved:

Every donation, big or small, makes a difference. Throughout the month of November, you can drop off your spare change, canned goods, or blankets at our physical location during the dates listed below or email us to schedule drop off:

Week 1 (11/07): Blanket Drive (10 AM - 2 PM) - Donate and drop off new blankets for seasonal operations for persons that will be temporarily sheltered during winter operations. MRM Blanket Donation Guidelines.pdf

Week 2 (11/14): Canned Food Drive (10 AM - 2 PM) - Donate non-perishable canned goods for Love Connection Feeding Ministry. See following list of food items we will be accepting: Murfreesboro_Rescue_Mission_Thanksgiving_Food_Donation_List.pdf

Week 3 (11/21): Physical Spare Change Drive (1 PM - 5 PM) - Donate your coins to MRM during this drop off date and time.

Week 4 (11/30): Warm Hats, Mitts and Hot Cocoa (1 PM - 5 PM) As a token of our appreciation, stop by MRM Apartments to collect a warm hat or pair of mitts and enjoy some Hot Cocoa on us at MRM’s future site. Gather with us for this social evening, engaging with the community and spreading warmth. We want to personally say, thank you!
