For over 90 years, the Junior League of Waco has been a driving force in McLennan County. We utilize a powerful combination of volunteerism and fundraising to support programs that align with our mission and the needs of Waco. Through this, we are one of the most respected and effective volunteer groups in Central Texas. By training women, we not only affect our organization but also enable our members to transfer these skills into the greater community.

The first Charity Ball started in 1960 and ran until 2006. In its heyday, it was known to attract over 1,500 attendees and sponsors and be the highlight event of the year. With new niche themes each year, such as Blackbeard's Ball, Rock n' Roll, and Wizard of Oz, to name a few! This year's Charity Ball theme, Ballo Italiano, pays homage to the first Charity Ball in 1960, chaired by Sue Getterman and Patsy Cartwright with the same theme.

We hope you will join us in bringing back Charity Ball to support The Junior League of Waco and its community projects.
