Who knew that one very particular Goldendoodle would inspire an entire movement?

As many of you know, getting sick dogs to eat is often one of the biggest hurdles in their recovery. Sometimes kibble won't do. Sometimes canned food won't do.

And sometimes, according to Rhodes, only rotisserie chicken will suffice.

So, after reading all your hilarious comments, we've decided to embrace it.

🐔 Rhodes’ Chicken Fund will help provide comfort food and special treats for hospitalized pups like Rhodes who need a little extra encouragement to eat while they recover.

Because when you've had surgery, battled parvo, survived neglect, or are simply scared and confused, a warm meal can be medicine for the soul.

And if Rhodes has taught us anything, it's this:

Healing starts with hope. Hope starts with feeling safe. And sometimes, feeling safe starts with chicken. ❤️
