We are the newest iteration of a longstanding original hot yoga school in Chicago. We were formerly known as Be Yoga, and are now known as Chicago Hot Yoga.

Our mission is to help people create positive changes for themselves, body, mind, and soul in a warm and welcoming environment. We welcome all who walk through our doors and specialize in the therapeutic applications of yoga.

In October 2023, our lease was up and we relocated to a temporary space on Damen Ave. This transition year put a great financial burden on our yoga school. In addition to the costs of relocating, we had to build our membership up from scratch.

Over the last year, we secured a permanent location for the yoga school (Hooray!) and rebuilt our membership base to 168 members.

However, due to many delays in receiving our building permits from the city, the costs of build-out have tripled due to inflation and factors out of our control. We have the funds for the first few payments of construction, but will need some help from our community and beyond to make up the rest. We have applied for relevant grants, but have not yet received any grant funding.

In today's landscape, it becomes increasingly challenging for small businesses with a lot of heart to thrive where larger businesses with bigger budgets and more funding can. However, we are here to stay true to our community and our larger mission of helping others. We will absolutely thrive... what we have to offer is unique and we believe that our community knows and understands the value of it.

We are fully devoted to the practice of yoga, both in the teaching of it and the practice of it. We do one thing and we do it well.

We have seen the positive effects of yoga as curative and preventative medicine over the course of many years. We have seen great moments of healing that are real and inspiring. We are here to share in the joy and beauty of the world around us.

Your donation will help us build our new location and improve facilities to make yoga accessible to a broader audience. As we strive to fulfill our mission, we recognize the need for increased resources to expand our programs.

Establishing our permanent yoga school on Damen Avenue will serve not only as a wellness hub but also as a catalyst for commercial growth and community engagement. As we grow, we will seek to partner with local organizations and leaders to continue this momentum.
