Children in Need: Nepal Flood Relief Fund

Help give a child who has lost everything a safe home and a hopeful future.

Devastating flooding in Nepal has displaced families and left more than 17,000 children in need. Many have lost their families and the security of the only homes they have ever known.

The need is urgent, and in this moment of crisis, HYF and Kailash Home are preparing to welcome additional children affected by this disaster.

For these children, Kailash will be much more than just a temporary shelter though. Each child will receive HYF’s long-term commitment to provide:

A safe, loving home and a sense of belonging
Nutritious meals, clothing, and essential supplies
Comprehensive education, including school supplies, transportation, and tutoring
Medical care and support for physical well-being
Counseling and compassionate emotional care
Cultural connection, community, and opportunities for the future

In the face of such heartbreaking loss, we are grateful to have both the experience and resources at Kailash Home to help. But accepting additional children also means making a commitment to care for them not only today, but throughout their education and journey toward adulthood.

Your gift today can help welcome a child home.

$100 — Safety and Comfort

Helps provide nutritious meals, healthcare, counseling, and the reassuring support a child needs after experiencing loss and displacement.

$250 — Learning and Stability

Helps support school enrollment, supplies, tutoring, transportation, and the daily structure that allows a child to begin moving forward.

$500 — A Foundation for the Future

Provides a cornerstone of the comprehensive, long-term care every child at Kailash Home receives, including education, health, nutrition, emotional well-being, and a true sense of home.

Prefer to choose your own amount? Every gift, no matter the size, will help.

We are now seeking Sponsors for our incoming class of Kailash Kids, including the six additional children impacted by the flooding. For less than $7/day over a commitment of six years, Sponsorship will give one of these precious children an education, proper nutrition, healthcare, emotional well-being, compassionate guidance, the security of knowing they have a place where they belong, and hope for brighter days in the future.

The need of these precious children continues beyond today.

Your generosity will help transform fear and uncertainty into safety, stability, and hope. Make your gift today and help us welcome a child home.

Thank you for standing with the children of Nepal.

Gifts to the Children in Need: Nepal Flood Relief Fund will support children welcomed to Kailash Home as a result of the flooding and their related care. If contributions exceed the needs associated with this response, remaining funds will be used to support other children in need at Kailash Home.
