Next Wednesday, January 22, 2025, marks 52 years since the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision, which profoundly impacted families and communities across the nation. While the 2022 Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision changed the legal landscape, the need to support women and families facing unplanned pregnancies remains as important as ever. In Michigan, Proposal 3 has further shaped the conversation, allowing abortion throughout all nine months of pregnancy.

This Sunday, January 19, is Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. Since its establishment in 1984, this day has been an opportunity for communities across the nation to come together in prayer and reflection—honoring the value of every human life and seeking healing for the pain caused by abortion.
