Many of you have shared how a single CIEL program shaped your future, how you think, how you work, and how you engage with the world. You met people rebuilding after war, restoring trust across divides, and confronting the aftermath of violence. These are the moments that stay with students for years.

Now we’re making that access more transparent, accountable, and donor-supported.

This Giving Tuesday, we’re launching the CIEL Scholarship Fund 2026.
Our goal is to raise $100,000 over the next 12 months to directly fund student participation in our 2026 programs.

Why It Matters

In 2025, over 100 students joined CIEL trips around the world—from Cambodia to Northern Ireland, from Kosovo to Vietnam. They studied reconciliation, post-conflict justice, trauma recovery, and civic transition.

But this access isn’t guaranteed.

One-third of our operating budget comes from individual donations. Without them, trip costs would need to rise by 33%, pricing out at least 30 students this year alone.

Your donations are often the deciding factor between participation and staying home.
