Hello friends,

I’m excited to share that it has officially been a year since I became a permanent resident of the United States! After over 20 years of living in this country—often feeling anxious and uncertain about my future—I have finally been able to call this place my permanent home.

Throughout my journey, I’ve learned so much about the rich history, diverse people, and inspiring leaders who make this country and community great. I am deeply grateful for the teachers, community members, and friends who have supported me along the way. Many of you have been with me since I first arrived, and our continued connection means the world to me.

To celebrate this milestone, I’m running a campaign to support Tennessee Justice for Our Neighbors (JFON), an organization that has been instrumental in my journey. JFON helped me apply for DACA, guided me through my green card process, and will continue to support me as I pursue citizenship.

Founded in 2008, Tennessee Justice for Our Neighbors is a nonprofit law office that has represented thousands of individuals seeking humanitarian relief. The organization provides direct representation to people from around the world and advocates for children, women, and men displaced by war, violence and poverty. TNJFON provides local solutions to global problems one family at a time, while also working to change the broken immigration system.
