⛰️ One ask. No seeds, no auction baskets, no photo sessions.

You told us you'd rather make one meaningful gift than navigate a year of fundraisers — so this year, that's exactly what we're doing. Climb for Our Kids replaces our traditional fundraising events with a single, transparent ask (without any actual climbing!) that funds everything the PTO does for Peshastin-Dryden and Alpine Lakes Elementary.

What $50 does

Our entire PTO budget works out to about $50 per student. That one number covers a whole year of:

Family nights — Art Night, Science Night, and Story Night, with dinner on us, always free, so every family can come
Celebrations — Día de los Niños and the end-of-year celebration
Teacher support — dinner during conference weeks when teachers stay late for our families, plus an annual appreciation gift
Warm clothes — coats, hats, and gloves so every kid can play outside with their friends at recess

How to climb with us

🥾 $50 — Support one kid. Cover a full year of enrichment for one student.

🏔️ $100–$150 — Support 2 or 3 kids. A large portion of our school community qualifies for free and reduced lunch. If your family is able, sponsoring an extra student or two means every kid climbs together.

⛰️ Any amount moves us up the mountain. Every gift counts.

Local businesses: you're part of this community too. Sponsor a family (~$100) up to a classroom (~1,000) — reach out and we'll recognize your support all year.

Where your money goes

We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so your gift is tax-deductible. Donations supplement roughly $5,000 in grants we pursue each year, and 100% goes directly to programs for our students, families, and teachers. We'll report back at year's end on exactly what your support made possible.

Our mission is simple: bring parents, teachers, and students closer together. When our community pitches in, our kids get a richer, warmer, more connected school year — at both schools, for every student.

Thank you for climbing with us. 💙
