Kakenya’s Dream is based in rural southwestern Kenya where nearly 1 in 3 girls experience teenage pregnancy (often as a result of child marriage) and 66% of women have undergone female genital mutilation (FGM). Women and girls are among the most vulnerable in our community.

Accessing healthcare is a struggle in the remote region we serve: transportation is scarce and roads are unpaved. For young people in need of reproductive and sexual health services, they are commonly met with stigma and shame. Getting the care they need is often unattainable.

This is unacceptable.

YOU can help change this!

We built a youth-friendly health clinic to close the gap with:

Primary health services
Mental health support and counseling
Stigma-free sexual and reproductive care
An emergency hotline for reporting incidents of violence, including rape and FGM

The clinic will be a beacon of hope and healing for the community.
