I joined Cherokee Makerspace in 2019 as one of the founding members. Since then, this place has become my passion and I've put a lot of my own blood, sweat, tears, and money into improving it into the collaborative space it is today.
I have since become the shop manager and one of the volunteers responsible for its day to day operation. It's been a lot of very hard work but being able to share my skills with other adults and youth has been very rewarding.
