No senior should have to face silent nights this holiday season. And yet so many do - there are currently 302 elders on a waiting list for Meals on Wheels in our community.

The most cherished holiday traditions involve seeing family and friends, and enjoying meals together. And while we proudly serve hundreds of seniors every year, far too many will spend the season alone, waiting for a nutritious meal, a friendly face and a moment of connection.

Through our Silent Night campaign, we’re working to shine a light on the realities faced by so many older adults in cities across America, including right here in St. Johns County. With added resources, we’re confident we can bring warmth, care and companionship to even more of those in need. But we need your help to End the Wait™.
