I live in a mountain forest environment for over 50 years and in that time a corporate lumber company has taken over the Federal lands where it can and they are clear-cutting 20-acre plots. In the high country, the trees are dying. The woods look stressed. Fires are consuming large areas of forests. We cannot continue this way. Our government is complicit.
