THE MOMENT BEFORE THE JOURNEY

Every great journey begins with a single step, but the best journeys begin with a community sending you off with wisdom, love, and belief in your potential.

Our IYT brothers are about to take one of the most important trips of their young lives. They'll walk the campuses where they might spend the next four years. They'll sit in classrooms, explore dorms, and imagine their futures taking shape. But before they go, we want them to carry something invaluable with them: your voice.

WHAT MAKES THIS SPECIAL

This isn't a formal gala or a scripted event. It's a meaningful conversation between people who care deeply about these young men's futures and the young men themselves.

You'll have the chance to:

• Share the real story of how you chose your college; the factors that mattered, the questions you asked, the gut feelings you followed

• Help them think critically about fit, not just prestige

• Remind them that they have a whole community cheering them on

• Learn their hopes, dreams, and the schools they're most excited to visit

YOUR IMPACT IN THE ROOM

These brothers may or may not know you've invested financially in their success. Now they'll get to meet you, learn from you, and feel the full weight of a community that believes they belong in higher education.

For many of our young men, you may be the first college graduate they've had an extended conversation with. Your casual comments about campus culture, your tips on questions to ask during tours, your encouragement; these aren't small things. They're the building blocks of confidence.

WHAT TO EXPECT

📍 When: Saturday, March 21, 2026 @ 11:00-12:00

📍 Where: Mira Loma High School, 4000 Edison Ave., Sacramento, CA

📍 What: Light breakfast/snacks, informal mentorship conversation, group send-off

We'll keep the atmosphere relaxed and the structure simple. Come to share your wisdom, ask good questions, and celebrate these incredible young men as they step into their futures.

A MEMORY THEY'LL CARRY FOREVER

Years from now, when these brothers are walking across graduation stages, starting careers, and building lives of impact, they'll remember this morning. They'll remember your face, your advice, and the feeling of being surrounded by people who saw their potential before they even stepped foot on a college campus.
