Comet Corn Popcorn Fundraiser

In collaboration with our friends from Comet Corn, we are excited to kick off the annual popcorn fundraiser! All funds raised go the Sebastopol Education Foundation.

The fundraiser will run from Jan 30th to Feb 12th, pickup will be the last week of February and will culminate with a Popcorn Pickup Party and Movie Night.

Comet Corn Popcorn starts with organic, yellow butterfly kernels.  We pick up kernels every month from the farmer who has been growing organic since 1984, Ed Sills at Pleasant Grove Farms.

One of the things that makes Comet Corn Popcorn so yummy is we oil pop it, the old fashioned way. In our opinion, oil popped popcorn tastes more delicious and has a more satisfying “crunch”.  Most popcorn brands on the market air pop their corn, so it sets us apart from the rest. We use organic sunflower oil, which we also pick it up from the producer, rather than getting it from a distributor. Our seasoning blends are made with organic/non-GMO spices and have been created by Jeff and Sherry.
