One Day. One Community. A Lasting Impact.

On October 6, The Waverly Community House is coming together for its first Giving Day. Your gift today supports the Sustaining Fund, which helps keep The Comm’s doors open, care for our historic building and make the programs our community counts on possible.

🚨 COMM CAMP RAFFLE CHALLENGE!! 🚨

For every $25.00 that is donated to Giving Day, you will be entered to win a free week of Comm Camp for the summer of 2027. If you would like to participate in this, please enter the child's name or family's name at the time of check out.

Your generosity supports six essential parts of The Comm:

Comm Kids: Your support helps provide school-age care and enriching activities for local children. It helps give kids a safe, welcoming place to learn, play and build friendships while giving families dependable support.
Recreation: Your gift helps care for the spaces where our community gets moving and spends time together. That includes the gym where children play, the playground where families gather and the tennis courts where neighbors stay active.
Arts + Culture: Your gift supports the exhibits, arts programs and creative experiences that bring people into The Comm. From exploring a local exhibit to trying something new in a class, these opportunities make art and culture accessible to neighbors of all ages.
History: Your support helps preserve our historic building and share the stories connected to it, including its ties to Scranton Lace and Destination Freedom. Caring for The Comm means keeping those stories alive for future generations.
Events + Community: Your gift helps make possible the events and gathering spaces that bring neighbors together. Whether someone visits for a community event, a class or a conversation with friends, The Comm offers a place to connect and feel at home.
Our Future: Your support helps us make the essential improvements an older building needs, including our major HVAC renovation. These investments help keep The Comm comfortable, safe and ready to serve the community for generations to come.

The Comm has been part of this community for generations, but keeping a historic building welcoming and its programs thriving takes ongoing support. Give today to help make sure The Comm is here for the next generation, too.
