You know this better than anyone.

A single decision — to show up, to learn, to push through — is what got you here. INIT was there for that commit. Now it's your turn.

Every dollar from INIT alumni goes directly toward the workshops, events, hackathons, and career resources that give the next generation of underrepresented founders and engineers their first real shot in tech.

Your gift goes further than you think. Alumni at Google, Microsoft, Meta, Amazon, American Express, and Wells Fargo can double their donation through their employer's matching gift program, at no extra cost. Check if your company matches before you give.

Give back to where it started.

About INIT

INIT is a community helping underserved students and professionals launch careers in technology. Through chapters across Florida (and growing nationwide), we provide technical programs, career development resources, access to jobs and internships, and a tight-knit network of people who have each other's backs.

Our alumni are now at Google, Microsoft, Meta, Amazon, Capital One, and companies across the industry. They didn't get there alone, and neither will the students who come after them.

INIT is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization charitable organization. All donations are tax-deductible.

💼 Double Your Impact — Employer Matching

Many companies match employee donations dollar-for-dollar, your gift could automatically double.

Already donated? Your company might match it, at no extra cost to you.

Here's how it works:

Step 1 - Check if your company matches
Log into your company's HR or benefits portal (or search "[Company Name] matching gifts"). Common platforms include Benevity, YourCause, and Bright Funds. Not sure? Ask your HR team, it takes 2 minutes.

Step 2 - Search for INIT
In the portal search bar, type "INIT" or "We Are INIT." We're registered on Benevity, YourCause, and CyberGrants so your request will go through.

Step 3 - Submit your match request
Enter the amount you donated and submit. Your company will verify and send a matching gift directly to INIT, usually within a few weeks.

That's it. One extra step, twice the impact. 🚀
