What if the heart of Houston became a place where we gathered around one table—not divided by denomination, culture, race, or background, but united in worship, prayer, and the hope found in Jesus Christ?

On Friday, September 25, 2026, Communion Houston will bring churches, ministries, families, and community members together in Hermann Square at Houston City Hall to establish what we believe will be the largest public communion table in the history of Houston. Together, we will worship as One Body, share meals around community tables, and invite every person—including our neighbors experiencing homelessness—to take a seat and experience the love of Christ.

At the center of this gathering is the Lord's Table—remembering Christ's sacrifice, celebrating our unity in Him, and publicly rededicating the City of Houston to God through worship, prayer, repentance, and communion.

Communion Houston is also Houston's expression of the Come to the Table movement launched by Awaken the Dawn, a nationwide call for believers to gather around the table of the Lord in more than 200+ cities across America. As cities from coast to coast unite around communion, Houston has the opportunity to stand alongside them in declaring that Jesus is worthy of our worship and that our communities belong to Him.

Your generosity will help turn this vision into reality. Every donation helps provide the worship production, hospitality tents, permits, insurance, outreach materials, volunteer resources, and guest services needed to welcome hundreds of people into this historic gathering.
