Earth Day Community Tree

Join us as we plant and dedicate our first-ever Earth Day Community Tree on April 20, 2024! This annual program is being established by the Friends of Patterson Park in honor and memory of Victor Malabayabas, a beloved friend of the park.

Anyone may participate in dedicating this tree in Patterson Park to celebrate, honor or remember a special human or pet friend, with a donation of $100 to the Friends of Patterson Park. This first tree planting is limited to 30 dedications, and these donations will be used to establish a fund dedicated to tree care in Patterson Park. Donors may both attend the planting if they wish to, and provide info to help us create a temporary dedication sign that will remain on the protective fencing surrounding the young tree for 9-12 months. Donations received are administered by Friends of Patterson Park and will help to support tree care in Baltimore's Patterson Park.
