Confluence brings together people whose lives and livelihoods are shaped by their relationships with Alaska’s outdoors. Join us September 22–24 in Cordova for three days of conversation, learning journeys, resource connections, and relationship-building focused on shaping a regenerative outdoor future.

Headliner features:

Governor's Candidate Forum on the Outdoors & Tourism

Alaska Municipal League workshop on cross-sector funding positioning outdoor recreation infrastructure as health infrastructure.

Alaska Conservation Foundation listening session on blue ocean futures as part of their 5-year Kelp Values project assessing the social, cultural, and economic viability of Indigenous kelp mariculture operations in Alaska.

This year’s gathering features two main tracks.

• Regenerative Outdoor Visioning Project, building on the online workshops that attracted more than 100 people, we'll discuss strategies for the future grounded in place-based leadership, stewardship, community well-being, and stronger relationships with land and water.

• A resources track will connect participants with agencies, funders, and organizations and deepen our ability to help move community priorities forward—including a conversation led by the Alaska Municipal League about recreation as a strategy for rural health transformation.

Confluence Cordova is supported by Chugach Alaska Corporation, the Alaska Conservation Foundation, REI Co-op Foundation, The Alyeska Pipeline Service Co. and the Cordova Chamber of Commerce.

Registration fees are set on a cost-recovery basis and help offset venue rental, food, and other Summit essentials. Every registration helps make Confluence possible.

Come prepared to listen, contribute, connect, and help shape what comes next for Alaska’s outdoors.
