🌍 Conscious Cards: A Six-Week Journey Through Card Games, Culture & Cuisine

Six weeks. Six cultures. Countless connections.

Join us every Wednesday evening (5:30pm-8pm) from October 7 through November 18 (with a break on November 4) for a one-of-a-kind cultural adventure where great games, delicious food, and meaningful connections come together for a purpose.

Each week, we'll explore a different culture and region of the world through a beloved card game—from Spades in the United States to Big Two, Canasta, Tarneeb, Seep, Scopa, and more. No passport required—just bring your curiosity, your competitive spirit, and a willingness to have fun!

Whether you're a seasoned player or have never played before, our friendly hosts will teach you everything you need to know. Along the way, you'll meet new people, share plenty of laughs, enjoy authentic cuisine inspired by each featured culture, and discover how card games have brought families and communities together across the globe for generations.

But Conscious Cards is about more than learning new games.

Each evening also highlights Pickleball Positive's A-to-Z Behaviors for Success, inspiring conversations and connections around qualities such as empathy, courage, gratitude, collaboration, curiosity, and respect. Together, we'll discover that the skills that make us better card players can also help us become better friends, neighbors, teammates, and leaders.

Every Wednesday, your ticket makes a difference.

Proceeds support Positive Communities Inc., helping expand programs that build character, belonging, leadership, and connection through play, while also supporting Café Joyeux, whose inspiring mission creates meaningful employment opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Some weeks, we will have additional partners to join us and showcase their missions too!

Whether you join us for one evening or the entire six-week journey, you'll enjoy great food, discover new favorite games, make new friends, and help build stronger, more connected communities.

Play. Connect. Discover. Grow. Give Back.
