What to Bring: Please bring lots of water, healthy snacks, a good pair of running shoes, athletic shorts or pants, a jacket, a rain jacket, sunscreen, and a great attitude! Also, please note dryland will be outside, so please dress accordingly for the weather and bring extra layers or clothes as needed.

What is Dryland: Dryland is the off-season training skiers and snowboarders participate in to gain fitness and reduce the chance of injury during the ski and snowboard seasons.

What to Expect at Dryland: Athletes will be led through various games, exercises, and obstacle courses designed to improve their fitness for skiing and snowboarding.

We will start each day with a general dynamic warm-up to get the blood pumping and muscles warm. After the warm-up, athletes will participate in exercise stations and games. Exercises will be a variety of general agility drills, jumps, and basic tumbling/gymnastic skills. There will also be a variety of games athletes will participate (i.e. soccer, ultimate frisbee, speedball, etc..) designed for improving cardio fitness and fun! We will end the session with a team relay obstacle course. The obstacle course will have many elements of the day's dryland training combined into the course for a fun wrap-up to end the day's training.

Wrap-up: This is a great opportunity for athletes to improve their fitness specific for skiing and snowboarding before the start of the season. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding dryland specifically, and let's get pumped for the ski and snowboard seasons!
