This August, two organizations rooted in hope, healing, and community — All Things Made New and The Table Irving— are coming together to host the Cornhole Classic, a community tournament with a purpose far greater than competition.

Every bag tossed represents something bigger: a young person finding mentorship, a family receiving support during crisis, a student discovering purpose, or someone experiencing hope when life has felt overwhelming.

At All Things Made New, lives are being transformed every day through mentoring, outreach, educational support, and programs that serve youth and families facing hardship, instability, trauma, and poverty throughout the Irving community. The Table Irving creates spaces where people can gather, belong, connect, and experience authentic community and care. Together, these organizations believe that real change happens when people show up for one another.

The Cornhole Classic is more than a tournament. It is an opportunity for the community to rally together and invest directly into people. Funds raised from this event will help provide meals, mentoring programs, student support, outreach initiatives, life skills resources, and community events that continue creating safe spaces and life-changing opportunities for individuals and families in need.

Many of the youth and families served have faced obstacles that could have easily defined their future: homelessness, violence, instability, food insecurity, or lack of support. But through consistent encouragement, mentorship, and community, their stories are changing. Students are graduating. Families are rebuilding. Young leaders are emerging. Hope is growing.

This event invites businesses, churches, families, and community members to become part of that story.

Whether through sponsorships, donations, volunteering, or participating in the tournament, every contribution helps create lasting impact in Irving and beyond.

On August 15th at Toyota Music Factory, we are not simply playing cornhole. We are building stronger communities, investing in people, and reminding others that they are seen, valued, and never alone.
