🎃 Costume Contest Rules/Things to Know:

MUST have a ticket to Beacon's Halloween Bash - Get yours today at beaconbash.com!
MUST be signed up to participate - Deadline to sign up is 10/20/2024 (There will be no same day entry this year)
MUST wear the same costume that you entered the contest with on the night of the event
Profile photos aren't required but will help showcase your costume to earn more votes
Contestants should share contest page with friends, family, etc. to try to generate as many votes as possible BEFORE the event (Tag us if you post on Facebook (Beacon, Inc) or Instagram (@beacon.inc) for a feature on our page!)
You will still have the opportunity to earn votes the night of the event but we encourage getting a head start to have a better chance of earning more votes
Winners are determined by who has the most votes by the end of the contest and will be announced the night of the event as well as awarded with some pretty fang-tastic prizes including gift cards to local hot spots, an Apple Watch SE, tickets to events of all kinds, a photoshoot session with local photographer Amy Mason, and more! Click the "Join Here!" button to enter the contest or use the following link: givebutter.com/costume2024/join

If this is your first time using givebutter: Upload a picture of you in your costume, enter your account information, and click “Sign up”

If you’ve donated or fundraised through givebutter before: Instead of filling in your info, scroll all the way down and click "Sign In", Enter your email and password, then click "Sign In" again. If you forgot your password, you'll have to click the "Forgot Password" button, go through the process of setting a new one up, and repeat the steps above. Please note, you will have to update your photo to one of you in costume AFTER signing up completely.

Set your goal for the number of votes you're aiming for personally ($1 = 1 vote) and share a description of your costume in the "story" section along with how supporting you in this contest contributes to funding Beacon's crucial services and shelters for individuals and families in our community struggling with extreme poverty and homelessness. Then click "Join this fundraiser" to offically join! *Donations/Votes can be made through the "Vote Here!" button on the top right of the page, your page's personal link or QR code, or by selecting a participant under the category they've entered with the following link: givebutter.com/costume2024/donate
