Now that belief carries us forward to the next chapter. As of July 1st, Children’s Place International is transitioning into a fully independent 501(c)(3) organization. This strategic evolution allows 100% of our governance, resources, and clinical partnerships to be dedicated solely to our mission of helping kids overcome the dual crises of illness and poverty—maximizing the impact of every dollar invested.

This transition strengthens our ability to expand our life-saving impact and build new opportunities for children and families around the globe. As we look ahead, we see both great need and great opportunity.

The CPI Forward Campaign will:

Deepen the impact of current Child Thrive projects
Launch new Child Thrive projects and locations
Create a standalone organizational structure
Ensure sustainability and adaptiveness

As Children's Place International transitions to an independent non-profit organization, our long-time parent organization, Children's Place Association (EIN 36-3641017), is serving as our fiscal sponsor while our updated tax-exempt status is being finalized with the IRS.

During this transition period, all charitable contributions will be made to Children's Place Association, a recognized 501(c)(3) public charity, to support the charitable programs and mission of Children's Place International. In accordance with fiscal sponsorship requirements, Children's Place Association retains full legal discretion and control over all contributed funds while using them to further the charitable purposes of Children's Place International.

Donation acknowledgments and tax receipts will be issued by Children's Place Association under its federal tax-exempt status until Children's Place International receives its updated IRS determination.

Contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.
