Type One, Inc. is more than a nonprofit – it’s a movement rooted in hope, resilience, and action. Founded by individuals personally impacted by type 1 diabetes (T1D), our mission is to support and empower those navigating life with this chronic condition through education, advocacy, financial assistance, and wellness-based programming.

At the heart of our work is Type One Fitness, our one-of-a-kind inclusive wellness center in Norwell, MA – a place where people of all abilities, including those living with T1D, can build strength, find community, and thrive. We believe that wellness should be accessible, empowering, and joyful – and that no one should face the challenges of T1D alone.

To champion this mission, the Order of the Eastern Star, Pilgrim Chapter No. 89 is proudly hosting a Non-Profit Juried Craft Fair. This special community event brings local talent together to raise vital funds, with 100% of all proceeds going directly to Type One, Inc. From funding groundbreaking research at the Faustman Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital, to providing scholarships for youth programs, hosting life-changing events like Par for the Cure! Rally for T1D, and offering holistic support services – every initiative we lead is designed to lift the burdens of diabetes and uplift the lives of those affected.
