About Crosswalk

Crosswalk is a divine accident. There’s no other way to put it. Having played three years in the Atlanta area at local churches and teen centers, co-founders Gina Moore and Bill Ward took the show on the road for the first time in 1995.

Since 1995, Crosswalk has found impacted thousands of youth with the power of the arts, including live music. As of January 2007, Crosswalk has also been engaged monthly in juvenile correctional facilities where trained volunteers mentor kids who are incarcerated. 2010 brought our prevention efforts to the forefront with the pilot of ARTreach 180, our arts-based after-school and summer program for at-risk youth.

As juvenile justice reform takes shape in Georgia, we are currently developing new programs and positioning ourselves to partner with other agencies whose mission is to redirect troubled youth. God has only just begun the work He has planned for us. We need volunteers in the Atlanta area as well as additional financial support to make these visions a reality. Please join us as we “proclaim freedom for captive hearts!”

About The Conference

The Crosswalk Ministries Professional Conference brings together child welfare professionals, mental health clinicians, educators, nonprofit leaders, faith-based partners, and community advocates to strengthen collaboration and improve outcomes for children and families.

Participants will gain practical tools, research-informed strategies, and meaningful partnerships that support trauma-informed care, family stability, and long-term wellbeing.

5 Continuing education credits approved by the Georgia Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia. The credits are available for social workers, professional counselors, and marriage an family therapists.
