Founded in 2011, the Culbreth Cup Charity Golf Tournament is an annual golf tournament hosted by UCP of Georgia Board Chair Wes Jones and Board Vice Chair Bryan Jones. The tournament is named in honor of their grandparents, Roy and Floy Culbreth. The Culbreths were generous, committed supporters of UCP of Georgia.

The Culbreth Cup is a critical fundraising event for our organization, and one that connects supporters with our mission of positively supporting and impacting the achievement of a Life Without Limits for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia was founded in 1965 by a group of concerned citizens seeking to build community-based supports to address the needs of children and adults with cerebral palsy.

Since that time, UCP of Georgia has grown into a comprehensive service organization offering a wide range of supports for people living with many intellectual and developmental disabilities, including cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome, spina bifida, traumatic brain injury, and more.

Today, UCP of Georgia serves over 500 individuals and families daily with customized supports designed to help maximize potential, discover talents, and develop skills to achieve personal goals.

Our guiding philosophy is to promote the physical and emotional well-being of the people we support; to encourage them to explore their aspirations and dreams, and support their life choices; to help them become fully participating and valued members of their communities; and to offer them ongoing support as they continue a lifelong journey of personal development and growth.
