About The Girl and The Cookie

My name is Megan and I'm the girl behind the cookie! Ever since I was a little girl and my dad taught me how to use a mixer, I knew I wanted to open a bakery. Sharing my cookies with you all, and giving back with every order, is a dream come true. I hope my treats add a little happiness to your day!

About Project CASK

Project CASK is a nonprofit organization committed to developing treatments and finding a cure for CASK gene disorders— ultra-rare, severe conditions affecting brain development that currently lack any available therapies.

Since its founding in August 2023, Project CASK has awarded $632,000 to CASK gene research changing the landscape of therapeutic development for CASK disorders. Project CASK is kickstarting the first gene replacement therapy at Baylor College of Medicine, funding a small molecule study to improve brain function, and supporting the first comprehensive epilepsy study on CASK.

Our mission is simple yet ambitious: to give people affected by CASK gene disorders the chance to live full, healthy, and more independent lives. Through strategic partnerships, a focus on community-building, and a relentless pursuit of scientific progress, we are moving closer to that goal every day.
