About The Girl and The Cookie

My name is Megan and I'm the girl behind the cookie! Ever since I was a little girl and my dad taught me how to use a mixer, I knew I wanted to open a bakery. Sharing my cookies with you all, and giving back with every order, is a dream come true. I hope my treats add a little happiness to your day!

About Project CASK

Project CASK is a nonprofit organization committed to developing treatments and finding a cure for CASK gene disorders— ultra-rare, severe conditions affecting brain development that currently lack any available therapies. 

Since its founding in August 2023, Project CASK has changed the landscape of therapeutic development for CASK disorders by kickstarting the first gene replacement therapy at Baylor College of Medicine, funding a small molecule study to improve brain function, and supporting the first comprehensive epilepsy study on CASK.

Our mission is simple yet ambitious: to give people affected by CASK gene disorders the chance to live full, healthy, and more independent lives. Through strategic partnerships, a focus on community-building, and a relentless pursuit of scientific progress, we are moving closer to that goal every day.
