Today is Daegan’s 28th birthday. If he were here, he’d be celebrating with that infectious grin, likely surrounded by friends and family, living life with the same intensity he brought to everything he did. We miss his laugh, his strength, and the way he made everyone around him feel like they had an ally in their corner.

The best way we know how to celebrate Daegan is to be that ally for others.

Right now, Daegan’s legacy is working harder than ever. In just the first few weeks of this year, we have seen an unprecedented, record-breaking need for help. We’ve already deployed over 45% of our annual Hardship and Emergency Fund budget to veterans and families in crisis.
