Dear Dancing Earth Community,

As we reflect on the passing year, Dancing Earth is grateful for the enriching experiences, growth, and connections we've cultivated together. Our journey has taken us through various communities and artistic expressions, and we're excited to share our highlights with you. Extending the spirit of Giving Tuesday, we warmly invite you to join us in celebrating the cherished memories and heartfelt work we've accomplished together.

The Summer Institute of June 2023, held on Cal State East Bay University on Ramaytush Ohlone lands (Hayward, California), gathered a budding community of 15. Led by local Indigenous leader Corrina Gould, the program featured 10 workshops aligned with "mixed-cism" and biodiversity. The cohort collaborated to present a heartfelt offering to the Global Waters movement and the local community of Hayward.

In 2024, the Summer Institute plans to re-root in our home of Santa Fe, calling back previous participants and contributors for a program centering movement, collaboration, reflection, gratitude, and creativity. On Tewa/Tiwa lands, we will offer a culminating ritual/performance to honor the legacy of DE and share in the creative intentional setting for future worlds.
