Dear Dancing Earth Community,

As we reflect on the passing year, Dancing Earth is grateful for the enriching experiences, growth, and connections we've cultivated together. Our journey has taken us through various communities and artistic expressions, and we're excited to share our highlights with you. Extending the spirit of Giving Tuesday, we warmly invite you to join us in celebrating the cherished memories and heartfelt work we've accomplished together.

UNBOUND completed three impactful residencies in Tiwa Territory/Albuquerque, NM; the Institute for American Indian Arts in Oga’Pogeh Owingeh/Santa Fe, NM; and at the Peñasco Theater in Picuris Pueblo territory/Peñasco, NM. During these residencies, community circles were hosted to connect with Genízaro descendants through storytelling, gentle movement, and shared meals. We showcased a work-in-progress excerpt at the Albuquerque Contemporary Dance Festival and The Source Festival in Ohlone, Ramaytush, and Muwekma territories/San Francisco, CA.

As we approach the end of 2023, we're gearing up for an exciting 2024! In early 2024, we'll conclude creation residencies and head to Jalisco, MX, for another residency and excerpt showing with Eco Elegies. Then, in the fall of 2024, we'll kick off our NM tour, reaching towns and cities with significant genízaro populations.
