About Daniel:

“My name is Daniel Carcillo, and since 2015 I have been on a mission to recover my brain health, understand my mental health issues and regain my quality of life.”

My 8 year journey of healing delves into the world of alternative medicine as a pathway to recovery from debilitating concussions. Formerly celebrated for my achievements in the NHL, which included winning two Stanley Cups with the Chicago Blackhawks, I have transitioned into a different arena where natural medicine play a pivotal role in my quest for healing and renewed well-being.

Confronting the physical and emotional toll of multiple concussions during and after my hockey career, I have sought out conventional and unconventional avenues for relief. I spent 4 years in concussion clinics across North America, spent hundreds of thousands of dollars and was seeing little to no results. I embraced the potential of ancient therapies, embarking on a transformative adventure to explore the healing power of mushrooms.

Through these carefully guided experiences, focusing on my diet and exercise, and limiting my sugar and alcohol intake, I have been able to unearth the potential of these substances in mitigating the enduring effects of concussion, traumatic brain injury, CTE, and post-concussion syndrome.

My unwavering commitment to destigmatize and advocate for the responsible use of natural medicine sheds light on the evolving landscape of mental health treatment. I wish for my story to serve as an inspiring testament to the promise of these therapies in fostering recovery and emotional well-being.
