Join us on Thursday, September 10 at Delta Diamond Farm in Isleton to recognize the 2026 Delta Champions. Event begins at 5:30 p.m. and will recognize the following Delta Champions:

Delta Preserver – Achievement in historical or environmental preservation

Ted Smith (Clarksburg historian)

Delta Promoter – Achievement in tourism, agriculture, education, commerce, and/or the arts

Charles Van Riper (Delta High School Agriculture Instructor)

Delta Improver – Achievement in Delta health, community, and/or quality of life

Jim and Shirley Lira and Family (Lira's Market - Rio Vista)

Delta Legacy Family – A family that has contributed to the Delta for at least 100 years through multigenerational professional and volunteer activities that have enhanced the quality of life of the region

Hemly Family (Courtland)

Delta Lifetime Achievement – Lifetime achievement in preservation, protection and promotion of the Delta
