This year's Design Contest theme is 'Design for Impact'. We are looking for high visibility projects that widely spread the solutions that permaculture offers. Permaculture is THE design protocol for a sustainable and regenerative future that works on every continent and across all sectors of human activity including agriculture, waste, housing, energy, education, and technology.

Last year's design contest winner, Kelly Bull had a MAJOR impact when her project attracted the attention of both the mayor of Colorado Springs AND the governor of Colorado, bringing the impact of permaculture's solutions to the level of policy-makers.
