Thank you so much for being here and caring about Destiny!

Destiny was hit by a car and left in the streets of Palmdale until someone picked her up and brought her to the shelter. She was shared on social media by the amazing Rita Earl Blackwell and caught a wonderful woman's eye named Kimmy. When Kimmy saw this black lab with a broken leg, she called me and asked if I could rescue her from the shelter and help fundraise for the medical bills because we knew they would not be cheap. We also knew we had to save her because she wouldn't have a lot of time suffering in the shelter. On Friday January 30 2026, Destiny was rescued and got to meet her new mama!

She had her first surgery on Wednesday morning February 4th for her broken right front leg. The operation went well but the vet noticed she needed another surgery which was on February 11, to put a pin and tension band in her right front elbow. If you could donate absolutely anything, we would be so appreciative because these costs are much more than what we anticipated. Once her vet bill is paid off, I Save Animals organization can carry on and save the next animal!

Total Costs So Far (Rescue discount applied) (Thank you Dr. Dean at The Malibu Coast Animal Hospital)

Initial Vet Visit: $247.34

1st Surgery (Broken right front leg) : $3750

2nd Surgery (Pin and Tension band in right front elbow) : $1700

Follow up vet costs (Spay Surgery, might need to remove pins in elbow, follow up X-rays and bandage changes) : $700

Total Medical Bill : $6,397.34

We have raised $1,380 so far and still need to raise the remaining $5,017.34
