Liberation Pathways Healing Space is a Pacific Northwest-based, BIPOC and queer-led organization hosting low or no-cost programs and events for people from historically marginalized backgrounds. Our mission is to strengthen connection, belonging, empowerment, and healing by offering greater access to educational, culturally- and trauma-informed programming.

Liberation Pathways Healing Space offers sanctuary and creates safe spaces for historically oppressed and marginalized individuals (BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+, at-risk youth, persons with disabilities, and those struggling with addiction) through the continuous creation of the modern village, community-based and nature-based programs, events, education, and practices aimed at fostering reconnection, belonging, empowerment and healing for individuals, communities, and land built on a foundation of reciprocity.

Your contribution will help us raise much needed operational and program support funding for our B2L (Back-to-Land) Camps, Youth & Families Mentorship programs, as well as future events and programs aligned with our mission. The Back-to-Land (B2L) Camp is a three-day, two-night camping experience hosted by Liberation Pathways Healing Space, an entirely BIPOC-led organization serving historically marginalized youth and families (BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+). During this event, participating families partake in land-based educational experiences, storytelling, music, dance, and activities that foster connection and mutual support between families, community, and the land. For many this is the first time they have ever gotten to experience camping.

This year, we hosted one B2L camp. We hope to continue growing our capacity in order to host more camps and special affinity spaces for Black, Indigenous, Latiné, and people of color as well as our beloved LGBTQIA2S+ community. Our camps are all inclusive and free of charge.

For additional context, Liberation Pathways Healing Space is an emergent nonprofit organization in its second year of operation and going strong into our third year! In 2025 we hosted the first B2L camp, a Harvest Gathering, and Liberation Cinema: Voices for Collective Healing as well as other smaller events and gatherings on our 36-acre farm and forest host land located in Drain, Oregon (Douglas County). This year we hosted one B2L camp, our Harvest Gathering, this Dia De Muertos Fundraiser event, and will be hosting Liberation Cinema, Voice for Collective Healing in both Eugene and Portland. Although, we are located in rural Oregon, south of Eugene, BIPOC and LBTQIA2S+ folks (as well as allies) join us from Lane County, Multnomah County, Douglas County, and Deschutes County and other place throughout Oregon for our events. All our events are free or very low cost. Please visit our website to learn more about us and the services we are providing in the community and to join our mailing list!
