The Franklin Arts Department was founded in late 2024 to bringing art classes and music to Franklin. In that time, we've hosted a winter concert series as well as over 20 classes and workshops ranging from therapeutic drumming to pottery, all taught by local artists and craftspeople.

All of our programming has taken place at the Dick Wright Public House, a former car dealership converted into an accessible community center in the heart of Franklin.

Now we need your help to keep this vital resource up and running for all of Franklin.

For the past year and a half, Dick Wright Pub has been a vibrant community hub, drawing in folks from around the state for art classes, concerts, cribbage nights, parties, and fundraisers.

Even with a packed house, though, the "bucket" donations can't keep up with expenses. In addition to several grants we have received this year, we're asking for your contributions to this "Rent Party" fundraiser! You can choose a one-time donation, or a monthly "subscription".

All donations will go directly to the expenses of the Pub, which are in the neighborhood of $32,000 a year. This includes the lease and utilities as well as the "little stuff" like paper towels and popcorn bags. Any donation you can make helps immensely.
