Why We're Starting Digital Impact Project

No mission should be held back by outdated technology or inaccessible design.

That's the problem Digital Impact Project was founded to solve. We're a nonprofit initiative created by Cary Digital Design to close the digital gap for local nonprofits — the organizations feeding families, sheltering the unhoused, and strengthening our community each day. These nonprofits are often stuck with a website that hasn't been touched in a decade (or have no website at all). That makes it harder to reach the people who need them, connect with volunteers, and find new donors.

Once launched, Digital Impact will provide nonprofits with more than just a website. We'll empower them with accessible design, AI integrations, marketing tools, and hands-on training so they can grow, reach more people, and better focus on their mission.

We can't do it without support from people like you. Your donation today (of any size) is what gets us off the ground — helping us fund our first round of nonprofit partners and prove what's possible when great design meets a great cause.

FAQ

What nonprofits will Digital Impact serve? We're excited to partner with North Carolina nonprofits addressing our most serious issues: food insecurity, homelessness, healthcare access, intimate partner violence, and more. Nonprofits can apply for consideration directly on our website (our waitlist is growing!)

Is my donation tax-deductible? Digital Impact Project's 501(c)(3) application is pending with the IRS. When approved, contributions may be tax-deductible retroactive to our founding date (12/29/25). We recommend consulting your tax advisor.

How will my donation be used? Funds raised go directly toward launching Digital Impact Project's operations and our first round of nonprofit website and digital tool partnerships, including design, development, accessible web integrations, and training.
