The Squeaky Wheel is the first-ever satire publication that focuses on the experience of having a disability. It challenges common misconceptions, highlights absurdity, criticizes imbalances, and does it all with humor. Bringing you disability satire for disabled people and by disabled people, we pride ourselves on our hot takes and creative perspectives. In 2023, The Squeaky Wheel incorporated as Squeaky Wheel Media, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission of using humor to combat ableism. Our satire publication has expanded into a workshop program, an international television series, a gift shop, and a talent network for disabled comedians.
