💧 Dlo Sé La Vi (Water Is Life)

In the first municipal section of Dumas, located in the commune of Fort-Liberté in Haiti’s Nord-Est Department, more than 28,000 people depend almost entirely on agriculture to survive.

But today, farming in Dumas is becoming nearly impossible.

Erratic rainy seasons caused by climate change, combined with limited access to credit, quality seeds, fertilizers, and proper tools, have left families struggling to grow enough food to feed themselves — let alone generate income. Agriculture is their only source of livelihood, and without reliable water, their future is uncertain.

🌱 Our Goal: Raise $27,000 to Bring Sustainable Irrigation to Dumas

We are partnering with Dr. Junior, Immediate Past President of the Rotary Club of Cap-Haïtien, to install a submersible pump and artesian well system that will provide consistent irrigation to local farmers. Reliable water access will transform agricultural production, directly strengthening food security and increasing family incomes.

This isn’t just about installing a pump.
It’s about restoring dignity, stability, and opportunity.

Excavation of an artesian well
Purchase and installation of a submersible pump
Plumbing and irrigation infrastructure

Training for 50 community members in local conflict resolution
