When Buddy arrived at Albany Humane, he was so matted that Animal Control rushed him to a groomer. His fur was tangled into painful knots, and fleas covered his skin. The groomer had to shave him all the way down—leaving his delicate skin exposed—just to give him relief.

Sadly, Buddy’s story isn’t rare. We see animals like him every week: neglected, infested, and in desperate need of care.
