About Our Organization

Seahawks Youth Football & Seahawks Youth Cheer are proud programs of the Seahawks Sports Association (SSA), a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to developing young athletes in the Gig Harbor and greater Key Peninsula areas. As the Peninsula High School Booster's recognized feeder program, we are committed to building strong foundations in athletics, leadership, and character from an early age.

Our organization was created to provide a safe, structured, and developmentally focused youth athlete experience that prioritizes fundamentals, teamwork, and long-term athlete growth, while aligning with Peninsula High School athletics. We believe youth sports should shape confident, disciplined, and resilient young leaders — not just better athletes.

Through alignment with local high school programs, our athletes benefit from mentorship, leadership opportunities, and a clear developmental pathway that connects youth sports to the broader Peninsula athletic community. We emphasize safety standards that go beyond league requirements, responsible coaching, and meaningful playing time to ensure every athlete has the opportunity to grow.

Equally important, we are committed to making youth cheer financially accessible. Through community partnerships, sponsorships, and fundraising events, we work to reduce participation costs, provide high-quality equipment, and maintain safe facilities — ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent children from participating.

Every dollar raised directly supports:

Youth sports equipment and safety enhancements
Field usage and facility costs
Training and development resources
Scholarships for families in need
Community-building events and mentorship initiatives

Seahawks Youth Cheer is more than a team — it is a commitment to developing young athletes of character who will positively impact their schools and community.

Thank You for Considering a Donation

On behalf of everyone at Seahawks Youth Cheer, thank you for considering supporting our program.

We believe youth sports should be accessible to every child, regardless of financial circumstances. This is our mission. Through local sponsorships, fundraising events, and community donations, we work to keep participation costs affordable while delivering a high-quality, development-focused program for athletes in elementary and middle school.

Your potential generosity would help young athletes in Gig Harbor, Gig Harbor North, and the Key Peninsula participate in a safe, structured, and development-focused cheer program. A donation directly supports uniforms, training resources, field and facility access, competition opportunities, scholarships, and leadership development for our cheer athletes.

More than supporting performances on the sidelines, you would be investing in confidence, teamwork, discipline, and school spirit in the next generation of Seahawks.

Your support helps ensure that no athlete is left out because of cost. It strengthens belonging, resilience, and pride while creating a clear pathway from youth cheer to Peninsula High School cheer programs and beyond.

Seahawks Youth Cheer was built by families, for families — and supporters like you help make it possible.

We are grateful for your time, consideration, and belief in our mission.

With appreciation,
Seahawks Youth Cheer
