Nathan Powell Foundation, Inc. is a small Missouri-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2022 by Nathan Powell, whose own life was changed by a spinal cord injury. We understand how difficult it can be to obtain essential medical equipment and manage medical expenses.

Funds raised through this campaign will support our Durable Medical Equipment Assistance and Medical Bill Assistance programs. Depending on eligibility and available funding, assistance may include wheelchair batteries, pressure-relief cushions, transfer equipment, necessary repairs or replacement parts, other qualifying medical equipment, and limited assistance with eligible medical bills.

We are also building 100 Friends of Independence—a community of monthly supporters who give $10, $25, $50, or another amount each month. Monthly donations help our small foundation plan ahead and respond to more needs over time.
