Our latest projects are AMAZING and with your donation they will be even better!

Working with our community partners, the Erie Rail Trail is being EXPANDED! Yes! The Erie Rail Trail Connections project will extend our trail system along Gragg Street to the hospital campus and the YMCA. This will give us a paved pathway all the way to downtown and provide safe crossings, especially for those Crestview Middle School students and cross country runners! We are so excited to see this project underway and your contribution will help! Your gift will add amenities such as a bicycle repair station, exercise equipment, and doggie waste stations.

With your generosity, we will also be expanding the United Trails Wayfinding signage that is part of the northeast Indiana regional trail system. Bicyclists will be able to travel to every small community in Huntington County utilizing designated bicycle routes and check out what they have going on. We plan to expand our signage very soon that will give you distances and point you to other destinations.

Your donation to HARTA will allow us to carry on these types of projects and hold events - like the Tails and Trails event where there are lots of doggies - to expand our trail system, build awareness of the network and connect people and places.
