Dr. Veronica Boyer is a deeply respected naturopathic physician, a beloved colleague, and a steady source of hope for so many in our community. Today, she is walking through an unexpected health challenge: a breast cancer metastasis to different sites. As she prepares to begin immunotherapy and several integrative treatments, we are rallying around her with the same care and compassion she has poured into others for years.

Veronica is doing everything in her power to support her healing including eating healthy, fasting, staying active, tending to her emotional and spiritual wellbeing, and remaining grounded in her belief that her body can heal. Even in the midst of fatigue, shortness of breath, and the weight of this diagnosis, she continues to show up with courage, professionalism, and grace. She is an example of how to walk through hard things with strength and hope.

Why We’re Fundraising

The therapies Veronica has chosen are evidence‑informed, integrative, and aligned with her training and values but many of them are not covered by insurance. Immunotherapy is what the oncologist prescribed, and she is also pursuing complementary therapies that support her whole‑body healing. Funds raised will help cover:

• Mistletoe therapy (injections + nebulized)

• Pronuvia, an innovative supplement/therapy designed to help correct nutritional deficiencies that may contribute to conditions such as cancer, osteoporosis, Alzheimer’s, and rheumatoid arthritis

• X‑rays, labs, MRIs, and specialty doctor visits

• A high insurance deductible and significant out‑of‑pocket medical costs

• Living expenses as she temporarily reduces her patient load during treatment

Veronica continues to work full‑time, but as treatment begins in the coming weeks, she will need to slow down for a few months to protect her energy and support her healing. This will significantly impact her monthly income and her ability to keep up with basic expenses.
