Marissa Tavella's Story: In September 2023, after battling three years of over 50 undiagnosed symptoms, Marissa was finally diagnosed with late stage Lyme Disease, co-infections, MCAS, and POTS. What once left her bedridden has now become the very thing that fuels her purpose. Through her journey, she not only found herself again, but discovered a passion for educating and supporting others fated to have this disease. She made a promise to turn her pain into something meaningful. Today, as a GLA Lyme Ambassador and Mentor, Marissa is dedicated to raising awareness, improving accessibility, and advocating for the change Lyme patients so deeply deserve. Her message is simple: be your own biggest advocate, because sometimes all it takes is one person to truly listen to what your body is telling you.

Arianna Cavallino’s Lyme Healing Journey: In 2019, Arianna Cavallino was diagnosed with Lyme Disease after years of unexplained and debilitating symptoms. For a long time, she struggled to stand, eventually losing the ability to walk and becoming bedridden while battling multiple tick-borne co-infections and misdiagnoses. Through perseverance, faith, and natural medicine, Arianna slowly began to heal and regain her strength. Today, Arianna is passionate about raising awareness and supporting others affected by Lyme Disease. As a Global Lyme Alliance Mentor and Lyme Ambassador, she works to educate, advocate, and connect patients with resources and organizations that can help them navigate their healing journey. Her mission is to bring hope to those suffering, amplify the voices of Lyme patients, and fight for greater awareness and progress toward a Lyme-free world.
